It is difficult to define what we believe to be paranormal activities. They can encompass the obvious like ghosts and the Bermuda Triangle; but there is also a fine line between what may be paranormal and what may just be normal or co-incidence.
For example, you have a dream about winning the lottery and the very next day an overseas box shipping services parcel arrives with a notification of a lottery win. Did you predict the win in your dream or was it just a huge co-incidence. Who knows?
Or you miss the train to the airport and you miss your plane. The plane is then involved in an accident. Was this the work of some higher being or just a great piece of luck on your part?
It is difficult in these circumstances to separate fact and probability from emotion, especially if it is something that happened directly to us. It is so easy to see patterns and meanings in things that statistical experts would dismiss out of hand.
Don't forget that these people deal with such events and statistics every day of their working lives and what might seem out of the ordinary to us could be very ordinary to them.
We would be better off shaping our own lives and destinies by our actions rather than counting on fate and luck.
